Carbonated water
High fructose corn syrup, which is plain sugar!
Colors
Citric acidartificial flavors
Caffeine, and
Brominated vegetable oil…
Here are the worst…
Caffeine
Brominated vegetable oil
And High Fructose Corn Syrup
Caffeine make you go hyper and can keep you from concentrating on work, or other things.
High Fructose Corn Syrup is pretty much sugar, and too much sugar isn’t good for you. Because of this, you could gain up to 2 pounds a week from drinking soda
And last, but surely worst, Brominated Vegetable Oil. This is poison. Yes, you are drinking poison when you drink soda. Brominated Vegetable Oil keeps everything mixed together, so it doesn’t separate.
These ingredients are just some of the main ones, there actually are more!!

Our Action Component
For our action component we decided to take part in not drinking soda for the rest of the year...Our perspectives have changed. The "not drinking soda" experiment only lasted about 4 or 5 weeks We thought it was a bit pointless because none of us drank soda as often as we thought anyway.
Instead of that we took part in taking the soda out of the charity club. We went to talk to Mr.Welby about it. He took us to the people who are in charge of the charity club, but they were absent.
We still wanted to do a bigger action. So we thught of making a comercial to put on the IB TV. The comercial shows how bad soda is for your teeth. Monica and Ellie dressed up as scientists and explained the effects on your teeth. Mckenzie and Amanda were news reporters and introduced us.
In case people dont see the comercial, we made posters to put up in the atrium and around the school.
